Most near fine to very good. Each volume has a 1- or 2-page "Bibliography" section at the rear, and most of these show some small inked checkmarks alongside book tites; the only other flaw appears in the sixth volume ("Russia Besieged"), which is bound upside down. Otherwise a tight, clean, handsome full set. All 38 volumes are first editions. Item #8098
