Attractive and serviceable "Thin-Paper Edition in One Volume Complete and Unabridged," a followup to this publisher's 1923 two-volume set -- undated and presumably issued somewhat later. Prefaces to the 1888 first edition, 1920 second edition and 1921 third edition are all included, as well as a new intro by T.E. Lawrence, who proclaims it "a bible of its kind." The bright and superb 27" X 20" color foldout map, titled "A Sketch Map Itinerarium of Part of North Western Arabia and Negd," features much geological data and traces Doughty's many routes throughout the region.
