First and only edition of this religious pageant celebrating the history of this Roman Catholic women's congregation from its origins in mid-19th century Germany to early-20th century Iowa. The Iowa Catholic Historical Society was created in Dubuque in 1928, with pageants, parades and other events taking place that summer to celebrate the area's religious history. Front board notes that this particular pageant took place on July 24th and 25th. Quite unusual.
