Tight and nice first edition of this memoir by the baseball catcher (1925-2015) well known for his "Yogi-isms" -- malaprops, tautologies, witticisms -- who debuted with the New York Yankees in 1946 (through1963), then played for the New York Mets (1965) before a notable managing and coaching career with those same teams; in 1972 he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. He boldly inscribes and signs the half-title page in blue ballpoint: "To Scott / Good Luck / Yogi Berra."
