Tight and nice first edition of the sixth in this commission's "Original Papers" series, one of 5,000 copies printed and a lovely copy of a title often found in compromised condition -- John T. Hubbell describes this as "A recounting of the activities of women on the home front in sending supplies, supporting morale, tending farms, etc., while the men were away." NEVINS II, 129.
