My Travelogue.
Rockford, IL: Bliss Printing Company, 1940. Hardcover. Foreword by Charles R. Goff. Photographs by the author. Small 4to. Full green pictorially-embossed leatherette. 91pp. Frontispiece, map, numerous illustrations, map endpapers. Fine. Item #52686
Uncannily pristine first edition of this slim chronicle of the author's jaunts to all corners of this country, often fishing and hunting related, with a bit of emphasis on the West. The endpaper maps show Rockford, Illinois -- where it was published -- as the hub showing numerous trip paths ranging from the southern tip of Florida and northern tip of Quebec province in the East to the south of Mexico and much in Oregon and the Canadian Rockies in the West. The delightfully deeply pictorial front board embossing depicts a wooded mountainous setting.
