Item #51980 Signed First Day Cover. Fred ASTAIRE, Ginger ROGERS.

Signed First Day Cover.

Even though the report on his first screen test was dismal ("Can't act. Can't sing. Can dance a little."), the genial hoofer became one of the most innovative and influential dancers in film history; his collaboration with actress and dancer Rogers in eight musical films resulted in such classics as "The Gay Divorcee" and "Top Hat." Item #51980
