Signed Leaflet, glossy color 3½" X 8½" (4 panels, opens to 14½" X 8½"). Very good. Quite minor edgewear only. Full color promotional leaflet (printed both sides) for "Lovells of Lake Forest," the high-end eatery owned by the astronaut and his son in this suburb north of Chicago. End panel shows Lovell in suit and tie and his chef-attired son seated at the bar, and across the chest of the son's white chef's jacket the astronaut inscribes and signs in black ballpoint: "To John / Best Wishes / Jim Lovell." Accompanied by a mat-finish unsigned 10" X 8" color photograph, an undated (ca. 1970) NASA-issued image captioned at bottom "Apollo 8 Spacecraft in Orbit Around the Moon Views the Earth" -- known as "Earthrise," the dramatic image taken by crew member William Anders showing the moon low across the foreground and the vivid blue Earth at center against a sea of blackness.
