Pristine, tight first of this limited (unspecified) leatherbound edition of the 1976 historical novel set in ancient Egypt. Choice autograph addition: Tipped to blank leaf facing the title page is a unique frontispiece of sorts -- a fine 4¼" X 5¼" printed head-and-shoulders portrait of a young Drury in suit and tie, near the bottom of which he boldly signs in black fineline, adding "Cordially" above. Publisher’s “Notes from the Editors” booklet laid in.
