Pristine first edition of this unusual photography and poetry collection, handsome inscribed and signed in blue ink by the poet-photographer on front flyleaf: "For Bob Malott -- / Best Wishes & Peace / George Lambert Bristol / September 18, 1997." Interestingly, tipped to blank leaf facing title page is a "United States Savings Bond" 5-cent stamp First Day Cover bearing the rubberstamped signature of Texas and senator and Democratic vice-presidential candidate Bentsen (1921-2006), who provides the book's preface. Robert Malott (1926-2018) was a noted Chicago business leader, CEO of FMC Corporation, Republican politico and philanthropist.
