Roosevelt's secretary of agriculture, who became his second vice president in 1941, serving until 1945 when Harry S. Truman took over -- and then became his secretary of commerce. Wallace describes the funeral cortege escorting Roosevelt's body from Washington, DC to Hyde Park, New York.
