Handsome, tight first edition of this superbly-illustrated survey of decorative brickwork. Inner flyleaf bears an interesting inscription and signature in black ink from J. Eric Anderson (1922-2013), a noted Illinois architect who served as president of the Northern Illinois chapter of the American Institute of Architects: "To John -- / Christmas 1964 / Hope this will be an / inspiration to creativity / in masonry! / Eric & Ed."
