A quite handsome first edition of this comic foray into "the wisecracking, big-money, gaudy and glamorous world of Broadway...." This copy bears two choice autograph additions: Tipped neatly to front flyleaf are two fine, matching, heavy stock 5" X 3" cards signed by two of the original cast from the 1958 Broadway production: At top is EDDIE ALBERT (1906-2005), who played Jack Jordan (replacing David Wayne), who signs large and bold in black fineline and dates it 7 April 1973 at upper right; below him is ROBERT MORSE (born 1931), who played Ted Snow, who signs in blue fineline and dates it 8 January 1990 at upper right. Laid in are the perfect bookmarks -- Albert and Morse's transmittal envelopes.
