A spectacular, tight and handsome first edition (#2304) of Harold L. Goodwin's pseudonymously-published young adult sci-fi novel, reprinted in 1958 as "Assignment in Space with Rip Foster." Better yet, this copy is boldly inscribed and signed by the author in black fineline opposite the title page: "For [---] / from his friend / Blake Savage / aka Hal Goodwin." Harold L. Goodwin (1914-90) authored popular science books under his name and children's series books under pseudonyms such as Blake Savage and John Blaine ("Rick Brant" series). An extraordinary copy, scarce in such a lovely jacket. Signed copies such as this are rarely seen.

Price: $150.00
