Tight and attractive copy (Volume XIV, Number 9) of the famed weekly begun in 1925. Front wrapper art by Rea Irvin (1881-1972), illustrator who created the iconic Eustace Tilley portrait for the magazine's 21 February 1925 debut issue, depicts a Margaret Dumont-type society woman standing and singing in church, the little girl in the pew in front of her turned around to face her and watch.
