A tight and handsome first edition of this review collection from the noted Scottish theatre critic and writer (1856-1924). Front flyleaf bears the wildly handsome two-color ownership inkstamp of noted etcher and printmaker (see "Fifty Prints of the Year 1927" and same for 1929) Charles Butler Keeler, Jr. (1882-1964): "Charles B. Keeler, Jr. / His Book / Cambridge, Mass. / Feb. 1, 1904" in black ink with red initial capitals. Keeler graduated from Harvard University in 1905, thus acquired this title as an undergraduate. On the pastedown opposite, he inks "No. 500" in his distinctive calligraphic script.
