Signature and Inscription.
One of the last survivors of the celebrated FA-cup winning team (who also won the league title in 1952) was this English soccer star, who played goalkeeper for Manchester United from 1944 until 1956. Item #39934
Bold "Sincere Best Wishes / Jack Crompton" in black ballpoint on a 5" X 2" slip of paper, n.p., n.y. [dated 28 July 1986 in pencil on verso]. Very good. Single faint vertical fold. A nice later life example.
