Tight and handsome issue of this famed quarterly. This issue features, among other offerings, "Mr. Lincoln's Light from Under a Bushel -- 1852" by Richard F. Lufkin, "Shiloh -- Ninety Years of Battle" by Allen P. Julian and more. "Lincoln Herald" switched from a monthly to a quarterly in 1951 with Volume 53 -- but the Winter 1951 issue appears to have been mistakenly labeled the "Winter 1952" issue -- the Volume 54 (1952) "Winter 1952" issue offered here is the true, one and only Winter 1952 issue. Quite confusing.
