Fairly tight and decent first edition of this short adventure tale about Victorian rail travel featuring siblings Jessie and Frank and their mother and titled "A Thousand Miles by Rail." The color lithograph illustrations are bright, charming and abundant despite the overall general wear of the item. Merrimack Publishing brought out a facsimile reprint of this in the 1980s, but originals are quite scarce.
