A tight, quite nice first edition of this lengthy and detailed chronicle, printed in two columns. Scarce. Bold signature on title page and page 21 of Charles L. Lundy, a Cincinnati carpenter, bridge builder and locomotive fireman ("he ran the first engine [of the Cincinnati Southern] that crossed the new Southern bridge over the Ohio," notes his entry in the 1894 "History of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio") -- later a respected attorney.
