This important song book by a figure whom Nathan calls "America's first important composer" consists of (to quote the original title page) "A Number of Anthems, Fuges, and Chorusses, in several Parts, Never Before Published." A volume in editor Howard Mumford Jones' "John Harvard Library." . Tight and nice.
