Passaic, NJ: The Minority of One, July 1962. Paperback. 4to. Self-cover. 16pp. Very good. Slightest bit of mild edgewear. Item #32170
Tight and nice issue of this "Independent Monthly for an American Alternative Dedicated to the Eradication of All Restrictions on Thought" whose board of sponsors included the likes of Albert Schweitzer and Linus Pauling. It was noted for its leftist leanings and early opposition to the Vietnam War. A lovely contributor's copy, featuring the poem "Josiah Turnbull Took No Part in Politics" by noted social protest poet and fine press printer JOHN BEECHER (1904-80) on page 14. His wife, artist Barbara Beecher (born 1925), boldly pencils "MARKED COPY / See Pg 14" near the top of the front wrapper.
