The Minority of One: Volume IV, Number 9 (September 1962).

Passaic, NJ: The Minority of One, September 1962. Paperback. 4to. Self-cover. 16pp. Very good. Slightest bit of mild edgewear. Tight and nice issue of this "Independent Monthly for an American Alternative Dedicated to the Eradication of All Restrictions on Thought" whose board of sponsors included the likes of Albert Schweitzer and Linus Pauling. It was noted for its leftist leanings and early opposition to the Vietnam War. A lovely contributor's copy, featuring the poem "Engagement at the Salt Fork" by noted social protest poet and fine press printer JOHN BEECHER (1904-80) on page 5. His wife, artist Barbara Beecher (born 1925) boldly pencils "MARKED COPY / See Pg 5" near the top of the front wrapper. Item #32164
