First edition of these 118 previously unpublished poems, inscribed on the half-title page "For Fred Olson / in remembrance of the / centennial celebration / in Galesburg and in / Milwaukee -- / Margaret Sandburg / (see pp. 22 and 58)." Margaret was the eldest of Sandburg's three daughters, and Olson a Wisconsin historian and Sandburg scholar responsible for organizing Milwaukee's Sandburg centennial events. A nice association copy.
