Big, bold signature clipped from the close of an ALS, 5½" X 1½", n.p., n.y. Fine. Black bordered mourning stationery. A large, flamboyant signature as eccentric as the man, with partial words in his hand evident above the signature and three full lines in his hand (in German) on the verso (and beneath this a pencilled identification by noted autograph dealer Charles Hamilton).
