Tight and nice second edition of the 1862 books-about-books classic by the noted Scottish attorney and economist (1809-81). The heavy stock frontispiece full-length portrait of Burton and tinted engraving showing "A Nook in the Author's Library" are outstanding. Not the limited printings (one of 250, one of 1000), but the trade edition.
