TNS, 1p, 8½" X 11", New York, NY, 26 September 1928. Near fine. Faint original folds. Addressed to Mary Bostwick Day (1883-1959, librarian at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry). On "Columbia University" letterhead, he writes: "Thank you so much for sending me the program of the Safety Congress to be held in New York next week. I hope I shall be able to get down to see your exhibit. I want sometime to see your great Library in Chicago...." Boldly signed.
