N.p. The Stone Wall Press, 1960. Paperback. Small 4to. Wrappers. (2pp text), single leaf twice folded. Fine. Item #48579
Handsome signed limited edition, with rear colophon noting 150 numbered copies (this #104). Printed in Romanee types on sturdy Curtis Rag stock, with lovely two-tone front wrapper floral graphic. Signed tiny and boldly by Rutsala in black ink at the text close. Rutsala (1934-2014) was a noted Idaho poet and professor, and this 1960 poem precedes his first published volume by four years. Founded in 1957 by Kim Merker (1932-2013) in Iowa City, this lovely small item represents one of the noted fine press's earlier productions. Merker's charming custom "KM" bookplate tipped to rear wrapper below colophon.
