Handsome first edition of this multifaceted book arts production, superbly printed by R.R. Donnelley and Sons and limited to 1000 copies. On the front flyleaf, Koch boldly inscribes and signs in brown ink "To / Mr Theodore W. Robinson / with the Compliments / of / Theo. W. Hoch." Koch (1871-1941) was Northwestern University's noted head librarian (1919-41) and author of a number of bibliographical studies; recipient Robinson (1862-1948) was a Chicago art patron, mechanical engineer and vice president of Illinois Steel Company.
