Very good. Binding mildly edgeworn and a tad scuffed, with gilt bright and all hinges tight; mild foxing, mainly to preliminary leaves. Item #47220

Handsome first edition thus of (to cite spine title) "Franklin's Works," a hefty pair that gathers a large assortment of the statesman's voluminous writings on all manner of subjects. Scarce in this nice condition.
