New York: Building Stone Institute, 1978. Hardcover. 4to. Burgundy cloth with silver lettering. (Ca. 250pp). Extensive color illustrations. Very good. Mars and scrapes to rear board (only) of otherwise-attractive binding; tight and internally fine. Item #47191
Fascinating trade catalogue, apparently first published in 1970, published by "the only non-profit trade association in the United States which represents every segment of the natural stone industry... interior and exterior." Most text leaves on stiff, glossy card stock and numerous thumb tabs dividing its contents into every type of stone imaginable (Bluestone, Granite, Limestone, Marble, Obsidian, Quartzite, Sandstone, Slate, etc.) with various member businesses touting their services and depicting their products. Unusual and clearly produced for use in the trade alone, hence a scarce survivor.
