Chicago: The American Face Brick Association, [1924]. Paperback. 4to. Stiff light brown wrappers with dark brown lettering and front wrapper color plate. 97pp, (2pp). Extensive full-page illustrations, line drawings, color plate. Very good. Binding mildly edgeworn and a tad rubbed; bit of minor spotting to some leaves. Item #47181

Tight and nice first edition of this well-illustrated survey of Tudor, Georgian and American decorative brickwork. Tipped to front flyleaf is a 6" X 8" beige glassine sheet bearing a boldly pencilled sketch of some ornamental brickwork detail of unknown origin or significance -- lovely and well-drafted, in any case. Uncommon.
