Addressed to Mr. Trevelyan. Near fine. Cordial note to admirer, boldly penned in black ink: "Gladly, if you will send it here. And thanks for your kind words...." Signed in full. Van Doren (1894-1972), younger brother of noted critic Carl Van Doren, was a prolific and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, literary critic, playwright, etc.
