Signature.
The uncle of Henry E. Huntington (of Huntington Library fame) was a powerhouse industrialist and railroad magnate, one of the "Big Four" of western railroading who helped build the Central Pacific Railroad, the first U.S. transcontinental railroad. Item #46979
Large and bold signature in black ink beneath "Yours truly" (in different hand) on a 4½" X 1¼" slip, n.p., n.y. Very good. Lightly age toned, with last few letters of signature lightly smudged. On lined paper, clearly removed from a letter. A sharp example of this uncommon signature.
Price: $100.00
