Bright and attractive first U.S. edition -- notes title page, "Revised and Adapted to the Pharmacopoeia of the United States" from the 1892 first British edition. Sir William Whitla (1851-1933) was a distinguished Irish physician and educator and later a member of Parliament. Rather uncommon.
