Handsome LEC edition of Fitzgerald's fourth and final novel, first published in 1934 and here with rear colophon noting limitation of 2000 numbered copies (this copy unnumbered) signed boldly in black fineline by both Meyer and Scribner -- this lovely copy, though, bears two choice autograph additions: Tipped opposite half-title page are signatures of the two stars of the 195 television "Tender Is the Night" mini-series: At top is a fine heavy stock 5" X 3" card signed boldly in blue ballpoint by PETER STRAUSS (born 1947; portrays Dick Diver), who adds "To Richard -- / Best Wishes" and dates it at upper right 6 May 1973. Below this is a fine, heavy stock 5" X 3" card signed huge and bold in black marker by MARY STEENBURGEN (born 1953; portrays Nicole Diver). Appropriate LEC "Monthly Letter" laid in, as is Strauss's original transmittal envelope.
