Handsome LEC edition of this play first published in 1946, here with rear colophon noting limitation of 2000 numbered copies (this #727) signed boldly in pencil by Baskin. Unique copy bearing three autograph additions: Among this play's noted stage productions was a 1985 Broadway revival featuring Jason Robards, Barnard Hughes and Donald Moffat. Tipped to an inner flyleaf of this copy are three fine, matching heavy stock 5" X 3" cards signed by these cast members. Top to bottom: JASON ROBARDS (1922-2000; plays Hickey) signs large and bold in black fineline, dating it 28 December 1968 at upper right; BARNARD HUGHES (1915-2006; plays Harry Hope) signs large and bold in blue fineline, dating it 19 June 1979 at upper right; and DONALD MOFFAT (1930-2018; plays Larry Slade) signs large and bold in blue ballpoint, dating it 18 July 1969 at upper right. Laid in are the perfect bookmarks: The original Robards, Hughes and Moffat transmittal envelopes, as well as the appropriate LEC "Monthly Letter." NEWMAN 525.
