President Lincoln's Blockade and the Defense of Mobile.

Madison: Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin, 1954. Paperback. Small 4to. Wrappers. 15pp. Illustration, centerfold map. Good plus. Some wrinkling and light staining, mainly to outer wrappers, and faint inoffensive dampstain at bottom of some leaves. Item #46070

Historical Bulletin No. 12, limited to 600 copies. Interesting autograph addition: Tipped inside front wrapper is a Typed Letter Signed from FitzGerald, 1p, 7¼" X 10¼", Milwaukee, WI, 29 May 1957. Addressed to noted Lincoln and Civil War scholar Arnold F. Gates (1914-93). Near fine. On pale grey letterhead of "The Civil War Round Table" that Fitzgerald served as president, he discusses a technical matter with this fellow Civil War Round Table officer (New York City Civil War Round Table), signed simply "Norman" in blue ballpoint at the close. FitzGerald (1894-1971) was a well-known Milwaukee businessman and long-time Civil War scholar.
