Tight, quite attractive fifth printing of this thick study (first published 1939). Interestingly, auto magnate Henry Ford of all people is thanked in the acknowledgments for use of a song/dance in one of his publications -- and this copy bears tipped to inner flyleaf a Typed Note Signed from Henry Ford's aide H.M. McConnell on Ford's personal letterhead, 1p, 7¼" X 10½", Dearborn, MI, 17 January 1944. Addressed to Elizabeth Hanley. Very good. Original folds. Sends two leaflets (tipped to facing half-title page) in which she can purchase the dance manual "Good Morning." One of the leaflets is entitled "Records of Early American Dances as Revived by Mr. & Mrs. Henry Ford."
