Subtitle notes, "Containing a Rare and Elaborate Collection of Photographic Views of the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America." Comes with Stoddard's "Portfolio of Photographs of Famous Cities, Scenes and Paintings...." Chicago: Educational Publishing Company, 1893. Wide 4to. Stiff burnt umber wrappers with brown cloth tape spine (16pp). Numerous full-page photographs. The fifth title in his popular 5-volume "Art Series." Good plus. Internally near fine, though outer wrappers (only) are worn, with a few archivally closed (on verso) small tears, a discoloration, a large chip at corner of rear wrapper.
