A tight and decent first edition of Bemelmans' fifth and final title in this series before his death at age 64 in 1962, though two titles were released decades later. Only flaw would be the original toddler-owner's enthusiasm for the subject, expressed in the form of extra-illustrations (i.e., scribbling) in purple crayon on pages 54-55.
