Guthrie Jr.'s noted "American Trails Series" -- and this copy with a fine decorative-edged bookplate boldly signed by Guthrie in black fineline on front flyleaf. Guthrie (1901-91) was a renowned historian, editor, screenwriter and novelist who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1950 for Fiction for his novel "The Way West." A choice copy.
