Interestingly, famed Louisville newspaper magnate Barry Bingham Sr. (1906-88) boldly inscribes the front flyleaf in black ink to "Mary and Warwick Anderson / from Mary & Barry Bingham / February, 1968." The daughter of the Binghams' close Kentucky friends wed Illinois senator Adlai E. Stevenson III.
