Tight, quite nice first edition -- the "Membership Edition" of this profile of the pioneer community and its residents, with colophon leaf at rear noting limitation of 500 copies signed boldly and in full by Thomas. Thomas (1902-56) was an American historian and author known for this title and mainly for "Abraham Lincoln" (1952), for many years the standard one-volume life of the president; upon learning of a cancer diagnosis he committed suicide.
