The Boy Merchant; or, The Pluck and Luck of Harry Graham.

New York: Frank Tousey, Publisher, 1907. Paperback. February 27, 1907 edition (No. 456) of "Pluck and Luck: Complete Stories of Adventure." 4to. Pictorial color wrappers. 29pp, (3pp ads). Good plus. Outer wrappers faintly soiled and mildly edgeworn; inner text pages moderately age toned and a bit delicate as usual. Item #44433

Attractive issue of this adventure weekly. Chromolithograph front wrapper shows a storefront exploding as two young men shield themselves from the blast and a shadowy figure runs. Caption below reads: "They took very little notice of the tough. But Joe saw him wheel around and throw something inside of the store to the farther end and then run. The next moment a frightful explosion followed and the little store was a wreck!" Fun and colorful front wrapper graphics. A far better than average dime novel (actually, "Price 5 Cents") or "penny dreadful," with text printed in two columns.
