Chicago: Republican National Committee, . Printed 16" X 11" newspaper centerfold insert. Very good. Lightly, evenly age toned, with several small expert archival mends on verso. Item #44418
This newspaper insert for the 1920 U.S. presidential campaign, printed entirely in brown, features side-by-side 6 3/4" X 8 3/4" head-and-shoulder portraits of Republican nominees Harding (at left) and Coolidge (at right) within ornamental borders. Printed on thin, rather acidic stock, these seldom survive in such nice condition. Harding of course won, becoming our 29th president, and upon his death in 1923 Coolidge became our 30th president.
