A tight, quite attractive first edition of this (to cite rear jacket panel) "evocation of the life of London -- and especially of the London theatre -- as it was in the youth of those people who are to-day, as the kindly phrase goes, 'getting on'" Interestingly, front flyleaf bears the circular blind-embossed ownership imprint of well-known television character actor Robert Casper (1924-2020).
