Best of all, front flyleaf bears the large and bold signature in brown ink of Hungarian-born American art director Paul Groesse (1906-87), winner of three Academy Awards in the Best Art Direction category (for 1940s "Pride and Prejudice," 1946's "The Yearling" and 1949's "Little Women").
