ALS, 2pp (separate leaves), 5" X 8", New York, NY, 26 April 1925. Addressed to Mr. Riley. Good plus. A bit age toned about the edges, with paper clip stain at upper left; light staining and wrinkling at blank bottom of second leaf. Urges this unknown writer to "come to the Writers club dinner Tuesday evening at the Hotel Brevoort. We're expecting a good time and you will add to it if you will please come prepared to read two or three of your charming poems! Won't you do that?" Boldly penned and signed in full. The "iley in question is not James Whitcomb, who died in 1916. Interesting.
