A wonderfully tight and bright undated early printing of number 51 in the "Modern Library Giant" series (first published 1940). According to Toledano this rear jacket panel was only in use through 1940, the year this volume was first published, though this copy does not bear the usual Modern Library copyright page first edition statement. Uncommon in such a lovely jacket, in any case.
